National Corvette Museum Bash 4/23/14 |
This was an extremely busy 4 days for most of the attendees. Everything from the new announcements for the 2015 Vettes, the improvements, new models, Z06 News, new colors, removal of some old ones, new style options, and new options like the PDR, (Performance Data Recorder), (photos below).
Then at the museum there were many discussions and viewing of the sinkhole and it's eight victims. Most of which will have severe problems being salvaged, (photos below).
On the other side of the expressway an entirely different project is aggressively moving forward, The NCM Motorsports Park, (see below). This will be an exciting place for us everyday enthusiasts to take the driving experience to another level. Just the Autocross course is ENORMOUS!! I highly recommend supporting this park that will give back even more fun and prosperity to all clubs around the country.
And to honor our latest members that have passed, Vicky Ryan, and Rock Kolojeski, the CCA club arranged to have two bricks placed at the front entrance of the museum, (photos below).
Finally to add some additional fun, I flew my quadcopter around and took some videos that even amazed me! Check them out below the photos.
On the way home we had some more fun at the Maker's Mark Distillery!
I would encourage all club member to come down and to take a tour and even become a NCM member to support our passion for many years to come!
