We have had many great Mystery Dinners planned by several of our members, all real successes.
After having volunteered for the final 2010 Mystery Dinner, I can say it was a rewarding yet somewhat stressful experience - (be sure to see the photos of me when we initially arrived, just before my first beer!).
Planning the final dinner in late October was a challenge so I wanted to be sure to make this unlike any we have had in the past! I even made special arrangements to have several Halloween displays lit along the way - I hope everyone enjoyed them. Please look carefully at the first few photos I took along the way in the pelting rain. The displays were unbelievable! And be sure to look at all of the Corvettes in our procession - (our thanks to those that braved the weather unlike the more timid Vette owners). Note: some photos might be a bit dark due to the early nightfall compounded by the pounding rain. I'm not sure but somehow we missed the hail, sleet, and snow!!!
The folks from the Cruisin' 50's Diner did a great job serving the many delicious beverages and heart warming meals! This, along with all our fine members and friends, helped to make the entire evening a worthwhile experience! Thank you! Fred.
